                                      INITIATIVE TEST.

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the kirig's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.
The peasant learned what many of us never understand. Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

                                WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

I was watching one documentary the other day about an African child, i could not control my tears as how he or she is viewed by the the Western countries. A child who can not go beyond his capabilities due to the situations that surrounds him/her during the process of growth. They mostly focus on lack of basic needs that leads to high mortality rate or stunted growth due to malnutrition. Sad to say that some do nothing about this.

An African child goes through a lot before he reaches the adult age. He struggles through and beats all the odds and comes out fine as gold if he is guided in a proper manner. They struggle through education and survival in the community. Most of them dreams big and no one believes that anything can stop them. I took a time one day and visited one school in a rural village and i met very happy pupils learning under a tree. As i interacted with them they gave me very touching stories about their life struggles. Each had a different story to narrate, worse than the other. But the thing that abides them all is hope and dreams that they keep proclaiming everyday. Some told me that they would like to become Pastors, others Pilots, doctors and others Presidents. I saw a great future in them and more importantly i saw a great African and unbreakable future if these children are guided well. If these children are empowered to believe in the power of their dreams. If these children are guided to stick to their roots. If these children are guided to value and appreciate life. Africa will forever be admired by many.

Being an African, i strongly believe that we can do better than anyone else. Look around, all over the World who are doing incredible things? We African blood lead or feature in almost everywhere. We lead great Nations like US, United Nations and African states. We control and maintain huge economies, large masses of people,we are the greatest actors, sportsmen and spiritual leaders. We bring communities and countries together. We are simply the source of life.

This is my encouragement to all Africans, big or small. You can be whatever you would like to. Sky is no longer the limit as they used to say. We can work together in love and we can achieve more than anyone else. We can join our minds and we can invent and innovate more than anyone else. Let us sit our children down, teach them how to be great. Teach them how proud they should be as Africans. Being black is not a sign of being inferior but a sign of uniqueness and greatness. We can change the World!

Smile is the African child weapon.

Teach the African Children.

We need to educate our children that we Africans we are never inferior. We are even better that them so that they can be competitive and the Western will never dictate us.
